First round within SGCP successfully completed

After three internal webinars, two delegation trips to Baden-Württemberg and North Rhine-Westphalia and several side events the first round of the Swedish-German Cleantech Platform (SGCP) is completed. In this first round the ten participating companies reached out to approx. 150 companies, networks and other players in the innovation ecosystem. In 102 individual meetings with potential business partners and customers the companies pitched in their products and solutions.

All targets of the newly shaped program – to gain market insight, meet potential partners and customers and network with relevant stakeholders of the ecosystem – have been reached. Every participating company will continue on their way into the German market. Some companies even discovered new marked segments and customer groups through the program. Others experienced that the program even could ”strengthen the plan to find customers in Germany” and one of the companies “prioritises Germany even higher now that we had the chance of participating in SGCP”.

The program, which consists of internal meeting with a focus on competence transfer, intercultural coaching and pitchtraining and two delegation trips including a webinar, group pitches and individual meetings, was highly praised by the companies. It has been “a big help to get started on our way into the German market” and “opened up valuable points of contacts”.

The participating companies in the first round were Altered, Bright Energy, Enjay, Ferroamp, Midsummer, Parans Solar Lighting, Powercell, Smart Recycling Norden, Swedish Exergy and Woshapp. Please read more about them under ”Companies” – and don’t forget to follow the SGCP on LinkedIn. We will share news about our companies there.
