Individual delegation trips in September and October 2026
This autumn, participating companies from Swedish-German Cleantech Platform are once again travelling to Germany for on-site meetings.
NanoScientifica: Advanced nanomaterials for industry applications
NanoScientifica will participate in the Hydrogen Technology World Expo and Carbon Capture Technology World Expo in Hamburg, 20–22 October 2026.
Founded as a Chalmers University spin-off, Nano Scientifica focuses on nanomaterials synthesis and scalable production technologies. Its work spans areas including catalysis, energy conversion, electronics and advanced materials, with the ambition of supporting various industrial applications across many different fields.
Modvion: Wooden wind turbine towers
Modvion will be at WindEnergy Hamburg, 22–25 September 2026, showcasing its modular wind turbine towers made from engineered wood.
The Swedish company is developing a new generation of tall wind turbine towers designed to reduce the climate impact of wind power while addressing challenges related to transporting increasingly large towers. The modular wooden towers can be transported efficiently and assembled on site. Wood also allows higher turbine towers to be built.
Aurora by Sigholm: Smarter and more efficient district heating
Aurora by Sigholm will present its digital optimisation platform AbS at the Dresdner Fernwärme-Kolloquium, 22–23 September 2026.
Aurora by Sigholm is a cloud-based SaaS platform that helps energy producers optimise production planning, forecasting, operations and follow-up. By bringing data, systems and decision-making together, the platform enables energy companies to operate more efficiently and make better use of available resources.
The platform is already used across the Nordic region and supports around 40% of Sweden’s district heating production. With Germany accelerating the transformation of its heating systems, digital tools that improve efficiency, flexibility and decision-making can play an important role in the transition towards smarter district heating.
From Swedish innovation to international markets
These business trips are an essential part of supporting Swedish innovation toward commercial opportunities in Germany.
We are connecting our participants with German industry, energy companies, utilities and other relevant stakeholders, to give optimal conditions for long-term market development.
