Scale to Germany: Join Swedish-German Cleantech Platform 2026
We now welcome Swedish small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with innovative energy solutions to apply for the upcoming round of the Swedish-German Cleantech Platform 2026!

The business accelerator Swedish-German Cleantech Platform (SGCP) is run by the Swedish Energy Agency in collaboration with the German-Swedish Chamber of Commerce, and introduces Swedish SMEs to the German market. There is a high demand for products and solutions that support Germany’s vast energy transition, creating attractive business opportunities for leading-edge Swedish companies.
The Swedish-German Cleantech Platform spans one year and offers coaching on key success factors for the German market, as well as tailored advice to optimize each company’s market offering. Customized B2B meetings with potential customers and partners are also a central part of the program.
Each year, a carefully selected group of innovative Swedish SMEs are given the opportunity to participate, and the call for the next round is open until December 1!
What you gain from participating in the program
- Joint kick-off in Berlin, including participation in the SET Tech Festival hosted by the German Energy Agency dena, with a focus on international fundraising.
- Development of individual market strategies.
- A delegation trip including roundtables, pitch sessions, networking events, and tailored B2B meetings with potential customers and partners.
- Final evaluation workshop.
After completing the program, you will have:
- Gained an understanding of the German market, business culture, and innovation ecosystem.
- Built and expanded your business network based on your company’s needs.
- Identified priority contacts and/or pilot project opportunities in Germany.
Requirements for participation
- Have a product or solution that contributes to a sustainable and efficient energy system, with a particular focus on sustainable cities, and that is ready to scale in the German market.
- Have an initial market entry plan for Germany or be in the process of developing one.
- Prioritize expansion into the German market in 2026.
- Be an SME.
Important information
- All requested information and documents must be included for the application to be evaluated.
- Companies can only participate in the program once.
- Applicants must have developed their own innovative product or solution.
- Companies or consultancies that are part of a corporate group are not classified as SMEs.
- All program modules are mandatory. At least one representative must participate on-site in Germany, with a substitute available to step in at short notice if needed.
- Participation is free of charge. Companies only cover travel, accommodation, and meals.
Timeline of activities
- Application deadline: December 1, 2025
- Earliest notification of participation: December 19, 2025
- Kick-off: January 21, 2026
- Pre-meeting for kick-off trip and pitch session in Stockholm: March 4, 2026
- Kick-off trip to Berlin: March 16–18, 2026
- Delegation trip to Germany: October 2026
- Final workshop and evaluation: November 2026
