Application closed for second round of SGCP
Application for the round of 2021–2022 of the Swedish-German Cleantech Platform (SGCP) is now closed. More than 25 companies have applied to be part of the program.
“We are very happy to have received such an amount of applications,” says Jenny Radkova, project leader for the SGCP at the Swedish Energy Agency, “especially as the applying companies cover a variety of areas, such as energy efficiency, renewable energy, smart cities, smart grids and e-mobility. This reflects the diversity of innovations within the Swedish energy sector.”
Next step in the process is to choose up to ten companies which are going to be accepted as program participants.
“Our criteria are the companies’ readiness for internationalization and their potential on the German market,” explains Verena Adamheit from the German-Swedish Chamber of Commerce, partner of the Energy Agency for the SGCP. “We are very much looking forward to go through all applications and to get to know the exciting innovative companies.”
The new group of chosen companies will be informed about their participation not before 15 June. The first group activity will follow in August: in a kick-off where the companies will be introduced to the German market. The first business trip to Germany, this year to Bavaria, will take place in October.
