E-world 2022: three days full of energy
The Swedish Energy Agency presented 14 selected Swedish cleantech companies with innovative solutions at the E-world Energy & Water 2022 in the Swedish Energy Pavilion. In total, 15,000 trade visitors representing energy suppliers, municipal utilities, service companies and many more, were welcomed to E-world by 736 exhibitors from 27 countries.
Since 2014, the Swedish Energy Agency is working with Germany to promote innovation through knowledge exchange and facilitating collaboration between Germany and Sweden in the field of green energy. E-world Energy & Water was a key event for promoting Swedish cleantech in Germany. Together with the co-exhibitors, the Swedish Energy Agency intended to not only inspire, but also create a platform for collaboration and future solutions to meet our mutual challenges and ambitions.
Individual B2B meetings were the main objective of the fair. These were arranged by the German-Swedish Chamber of Commerce, with the aim to match the co-exhibitors with potential German partners. Besides that, the companies were given the opportunity to pitch their businesses at afternoon sessions in the Swedish Energy Pavilion and at the Customer Solutions Forum. The pitching sessions were rounded off by presentations from the Swedish Energy Agency and Smart City Sweden.
All contributing parties were highly satisfied with the outcome and keen on continuing this productive cooperation.
Johan Ekblom, European Sales Manager at IsMobile summarizes:
“We wanted to gain insights in the German market, and specifically the ongoing rollout of smart meters in the energy industry. We wanted to know what the market looks like, who the stakeholders are and what the needs for a modern field service management are. Several interesting customer meetings gave us the insights we needed!”
The co-exhibiting company dLab agrees and COO Henrik Winberg states:
“The German market is large and important to us, not least because of their ambitions around renewable energy production.”
The event was an important step in deepening the Swedish-German relationship and building bilateral connections to face the upcoming challenges together.
