Delegation trip: five transformative days

As a part of the growth program Swedish-German Cleantech Platform, nine selected Swedish cleantech companies visited Germany in October. The platform is promoting innovative Swedish scale ups and small and medium sized companies (SME) entering the German market. It is hosted by the Swedish Energy Agency and driven by the German-Swedish Chamber of Commerce.

The study visit in Germany included meetings with main institutions, companies and actors from the innovative cleantech ecosystem in Thuringia. After two busy days in Erfurt/Thuringia, the journey continued to Bavaria and Baden Wurttemberg. Individually booked B2B meetings with potential business partners and customers were on the agenda and the companies had the chance to pitch their products and solutions.

All the main aims of the study trip were fulfilled after the delegation trip and the participating companies will prioritize the German market also in the future. They will now go into a detailed analysis of collaborative opportunities, seizing upon the energy the visit generated.

The participating companies on this study trip were 3E Flow, Altered, Bright, Eliq, Elonroad, Energy Opticon, Metacon, Powercell and Swedish Exergy.
